About Us

Committee Mission

The primary function of ICAEA committees is to develop and implement programs to achieve the goals and objectives of The Association and to provide advice and counsel to the headquarters staff.

➤ Professional Development and Exam Committee
Mission:
1. To govern and promote The ICAEA’s global certification programs that are recognized as the global benchmark for the profession.
2. To ensure that the content of The ICAEA’s certification exams is continuously aligned with and reflects the current global practice of computer auditing.

➤ Publication and Guidance Committee
Mission:
1. To develop, publish, maintain, and promote the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Computer Auditing (Books, eLearning, Journal, Ethic Guideline, Standards) on a worldwide basis.
2. To provide guidance to The ICAEA in the implementation of its global advocacy strategy and social media, supporting The ICAEA’s vision to advocate and promote the value of computer auditing.

➤ Public and University Relations Committee
Mission:
1. To promote and facilitate the development and maintenance of a global strategy that fosters good communication, collaboration and cooperation among The ICAEA and all University. To oversee University relations including the formation, development and expansion.
2. To build mutually beneficial relationships between The ICAEA and their publics.

➤ Information Technology Services Committee
Mission:
To strategically direct the development of information technology services for the ICAEA, members and related partners.
